We started the kitchen renovation project in about March of 2000.  We finally ended up finishing it around May of 2002.  I was a long project. I don’t have any pictures of all the original cupboards, but they were terrible.  The far left shot gives you an idea of the 1970’s decor. 

The kitchen nook was quite an interesting experience.  I guess at one point there was a handycapped person living in our house.  Since this person was in a wheelchair, they put linoleum on the walls to protect them? The walls smelled so bad, from years of mold and mildew getting behind the linoleum.  It had to be removed with strippant.  Boy was that a joy.  As you can see, a lot of different stages took place. We even had the kitty litter boxes at one point. I just can’t believe that now!
